About us

Main Street Church of Christ has been gathering in downtown Harmony since 1948. We're a congregation of ordinary people — farmers and teachers, retirees and toddlers — trying to follow Jesus together, simply and honestly.

Our worship is unhurried and participatory: we sing together, pray together, share the Lord's Supper every week, and open the Bible expecting it to say something to us. You won't find a production; you'll find a family.

What we hold to

We aim to be Christians only — taking the Bible as our guide, wearing the name of Christ, and keeping the main things the main things: the good news of Jesus, baptism into him, and a life shaped by his teaching.

Who you'll meet

We're served by a small group of shepherds and a pulpit minister, but the work belongs to everybody. Stick around after worship and someone will find you before you find the door.
